Healthcare marketing that brings in patients and earns their trust

Patients now ask Google's AI Overviews and ChatGPT about symptoms, treatments and who to see nearby. We help practices, clinics and life sciences teams become a source those answers can trust, with privacy treated as a design constraint, not an afterthought.

Solo providers, group practices, multi-location clinics and life sciences companies.

The short version

How does AI search affect how patients find a healthcare provider?

Answer

Patients increasingly get a summarized answer before they see any links. For health topics, search engines lean hard on expertise and trust: content reviewed by named clinicians, clear provider credentials, accurate practice listings and genuine patient reviews. Practices that publish clear, accurate answers to common patient questions are the ones that get cited.

Two bad options

Healthcare marketing is hard. Most agencies don't get it.

Practices tend to end up stuck between generalists and specialists, and neither fits a small team.

  • Generic agencies that install every tracking pixel they can find, including on intake forms
  • Specialized healthcare agencies priced for hospital systems
  • Reports full of impressions while the appointment calendar stays the same
  • Ad platform restrictions on health targeting that nobody bothers to learn

In health search, trust isn't a nice-to-have. It's the ranking factor.

AI search, healthcare edition

What earns a citation on a health question?

Search engines hold health content to a higher standard because a wrong answer can hurt someone. That's good news for practices willing to show their expertise. Here's what we build.

  • Clinician-reviewed content

Patient education pages with a named, credentialed reviewer and a review date. We write and structure; your clinicians approve what's medically accurate.

  • Provider pages that prove expertise

Each provider's training, specialties, conditions treated and locations, in plain language. This is what AI tools use to match a patient to a person.

  • Questions answered in the patient's words

"Do I need a referral?" "What happens at a first visit?" "Do you take my insurance?" Direct answers to these get pulled into AI Overviews.

  • Accurate listings and real reviews

Consistent details across Google and healthcare directories, and a respectful review request process that never asks patients to share health details publicly.

Privacy

How do you handle HIPAA in marketing?

We build healthcare marketing with HIPAA considerations in mind from the start. In practice that means:

  • Careful tracking. We're deliberate about which analytics and ad pixels run where, and we keep them off patient portals, intake forms and appointment flows that could expose health information.
  • No patient data in ad tools. We don't upload patient lists or health details to ad platforms, and we don't target ads by health condition.
  • Consent for every story. Testimonials, photos and case stories are used only with written patient authorization.
  • Your compliance team decides. We're not a HIPAA-certified vendor (there's no such official certification), we don't provide legal advice, and we don't guarantee compliance. If a project requires a Business Associate Agreement, we'll help you scope it before any patient data is involved.

Where we start

What the free healthcare marketing review covers

We'll map where patients are finding you, where they're dropping off, and where your setup might be creating risk.

  1. Visibility

Map pack rankings, Google Business Profile, directory listings and whether AI tools mention your practice.

  2. Content and credibility

Provider pages, patient education content and how clearly your expertise comes through.

  3. Booking path

How many steps it takes to request an appointment on a phone, and where people quit.

  4. Tracking review

Which tags fire on which pages, flagged for your compliance advisor to review.

Healthcare marketing questions

Is your healthcare marketing HIPAA compliant?

Answer

We build marketing with HIPAA considerations in mind: deliberate tracking, no patient data in ad tools, and written consent for testimonials. We don't guarantee compliance or give legal advice. Your compliance advisor makes the call, and we'll help scope a Business Associate Agreement if a project needs one.

Can healthcare practices run Google and Meta ads?

Answer

Yes, within the rules. Platforms restrict targeting by health condition and some medical claims. Plenty of effective approaches remain, such as location, service and search-intent targeting, and we design around the restrictions from the start.

Who writes the medical content?

Answer

We plan, write and structure patient education content, and your clinicians review it for medical accuracy before it goes live. Named clinical reviewers also strengthen the trust signals search engines look for on health topics.

Do you work with multiple providers or locations?

Answer

Yes. Solo providers, group practices and multi-location clinics. Multi-location work adds location pages, separate profiles and per-location reporting.

Do you work with life sciences and biotech companies?

Answer

Yes. Communications for those teams look different from patient marketing: press releases, investor and partner newsletters, and LinkedIn presence around milestones. Our SciTech Development case study shows how that works during clinical trials.
